Young Women's Leadership Conference

On Saturday, March 26, 2022, the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada invited 400 girls to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) for the inaugural Young Women's Leadership Conference.

It was a spectacular event in which the girls received a commemorative coin celebrating the themes "The Sky's the Limit" and "You Are Enough" as well as a swag bag filled with an inspirational book, journal, and school supplies. The conference also featured live entertainment, notable women in Vegas who served as panelists, a Continental breakfast and plated lunch, vendor tables, balloon arches, and so much more!

The president of UNLV, Dr. Keith Whitfield, the superintendent of Clark County School District, and Surgeon General Flowers also brought greetings to the girls.

The event was live streamed and Channel 3 News provided television coverage to announce the conference the week leading to this auspicious event.

Mr. Wes Hall served as the conference organizer and I served as the conference coordinator.

We are looking forward to the second annual Young Women's Conference in March of 2023!
