Annual Young Women's Leadership Conference
The Third Annual Young Women's Leadership Conference was held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the Thomas and Mack Center-Strip View on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The theme of this year's conference was "Shine Bright Like a Diamond".
There were over 400 middle school, high school, and college young ladies in attendance and 52 powerhouse women representing a variety of careers and professions to volunteer their time to spend a full day with the girls. The event included a Continental breakfast, swag bags filled with items, entertainment, speakers, lunch, conversations with dignitaries and community leaders.
Ten young ladies won a $500.00 scholarship gift card through the Brent Faiyaz-Freedom to Breathe Foundation!
We had several sponsors that included UNLV, Caesars, MGM, Brent Faiyaz Foundation and the Harry Reid International Airport. It was an incredible experience for everyone!
